Geothermal
Seppmann & Sons is accredited through the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association as a Geothermal Installer
Ground source heat pumps draw their energy directly from the earth. These electrically powered systems utilize the earth’s constant temperature to provide hot water, heating and air conditioning for homes or commercial buildings.
In the winter months propylene glycol circulate through pipes buried beneath the ground. This fluid gathers heat from the earth and distributes it throughout the system into your home. In the summer months, this system reverses itself by pulling heat from your home and inserting it in the ground to help cool your home. This process also creates hot water during the summer.
